Homecoming 2008
September 14, 2008
On Sunday, September 14th, the Bucyrus Free Will Baptist Church celebrated their yearly Homecoming by welcoming special guests and old friends for a day of fellowship, food, and service. The day's festivities began by a special word of testimony from former Pastor Clifton Thompson, who pastored the Church for one year back in the late 70's. Local singer/song writer Mike Marshall ministered to the congregation before Pastor Bobby Day from Providence Free Will Baptist Church in Olive Hill, Kentucky preached on the homecoming of Legion and the Prodigal Son. A homecoming meal was provided between services in the fellowship hall. The Shepherd Family from Shelby, Ohio opened up the second service in song and Pastor Jay Hill from the Penn St. Free Will Baptist Church in Alliance, Ohio preached on the Stones on Mt. Olives. Links of both messages are provided below.
