    The Northern Ohio Conference was established in 1954 in Fitchville, Ohio. Four churches were present on August 21st for the first metting. They were the Fitchville Free Will Baptist Church, the Kenton Free Will Baptist Church, the Cleveland Free Will Baptist Church, and the Mansfield (Hoover Rd.) Free Will Baptist Church. The Mansfield church is the only one out of the four that still remains in the Conference today. It is the present day Dean Rd. Free Will Baptist Church, Pastored by Brother Earl Tackett The Conference joined the Kentucky State Association of Free Will Baptists in 1957. The Conference left the Kentucky State in 2006, joining the Ohio State Association of Free Will Baptists in 2007. The Bucyrus Free Will Baptist Church joined the Northern Ohio Conference in 1958, and has been a proud member ever since.

Brother Chris Russell presents Brother Jason Waddle, from the Bellville Free Will Baptist Church, with the Word of God. This before all Ordained Brothers in the Conference laid hands on him and his wife in prayer.
On Friday, February 15th, and Saturday, February 16th the Bucyrus Free Will Baptist Church hosted the Northern Ohio Quarterly Conference Meeting. The house was packed and the spirit was alive and well. All are standing for the reading of God's Word.
